Slow moving or quasi-stationary convection persists in the MD area with a general clustering trend noted. Merging clusters may pose another round of heavy and flash flood producing rain for the next 1-2h. In addition, offshore pushing outflow boundaries may spark new storms offshore.

Elsewhere over S Italy, warming cloud tops indicate a decreasing severe risk.
