*** Potential for intense, surface-based supercells will increase over the area in the next three hours ***

A cluster of elevated storms has developed over SE Serbia with potential for large hail. These storms are forecast to spread N and NE. The initiation of new cells will backbuild S and towering cumulus is developing over W Bulgaria. Surface observations show very favorable environment over central Bulgaria with temperatures up to 28 deg C and dewpoints up to 19 deg C along with easterly flow. Storms developing or moving over the corridor of these conditions will rapidly become supercells capable of all severe weather hazards, including very large hail, tornadoes and severe wind gusts.
