Recent radar and satellite imagery show intensifying convective storm on the border of France and Belgium. Given the background environment, it may be capable of large hail. The storm is moving towards an area of higher temperatures and more abundant low-level moisture with surface dewpoints up to 19 deg C. Further intensification of both the updrafts and cold pool production is forecast. Upscale growth is also likely as the storm continues tracking along the warm front. Therefore, it is probable that the severe wind gust threat will increase over the highlighted area in the next two hours.
