Convective coverage has increased markedly over the MD area, with a line of supercells stretching from Luxembourg southward across Northeast France. In addition, new cells initiating over Luxembourg and a small MCS over Central Belgium is moving northward.

Over the next hours, very heavy rainfall is expected over the indicated area as pronounced QG forcing overspreads the region. Accumulations of more than 50 mm may occur in some places. In addition, some hail is likely occurring with the still isolated supercells. There may be a small window for another tornado until 21-22 UTC as more storms initiate in the strongly-sheared environment of far eastern Belgium, in Luxembourg and far western Germany, before boundary layer cooling will mitigate this risk completely.
