DISCUSSION
Storm systems over the Netherlands and Germany have formed in response to diurnal heating that helped to create 1000 - 1500 J/kg of CAPE. In moderate 15-20 m/s deep-layer shear, storm splits have been observed and moderate rotation detected by Doppler-radar in some storms. The storms will likely continue for the next few hours with a threat of severe wind gusts (i.e. > 25 m/s), large hail up to 2 - 4 cm and very heavy rainfall.
