SYNOPSIS and DISCUSSION

Cold and stable airmass resides over much of Central and Eastern Europe, underneath a large high pressure system with an exception of mid-tropospheric low that will be centered over the Czech Republic. In the stable airmass, conditions look too hostile to support enhanced chances of electrified deep moist convection. The only area that will sport some chances of thunderstorms is the western coastline of Iberia. Isolated thunderstorms may occur along and behind the advancing cold front where moister airmass may result in a a few tens to hundreds J/kg of CAPE. Despite the presence of strong DLS along the front, overall probabilities of severe weather are too low atm to warrant a Lvl issuance.
