Northeastern MD area:

A squall line with embedded bowing segement has developed and will affect this area with ample deep-layer shear, moderate instability (1000 - 1500 MLCAPE) during the cominghours. Severe wind gusts can be expected in many places where the covnective system passes.

SW MD area:

increased coverage of severe storms is expected in the coming hours ahead of the surface cold front. Cell development will likely be relatively isolated and be either multicells or supercells. Threat of the storms will be large hail. Some severe downbursts cannot be ruled out either given the deep warm boundary layer.

Northern MD area:

Very humid conditions with dew points around 22 and temperatures around 25 degrees persist across far northern Germany and southern Denmark. With strong low-level wind shear in place, it is possible that one or two tornadoes occur as storms move into the area from the west.
