SYNOPSIS and DISCUSSION

A high amplitude flow pattern has established over Europe as pronounced ridge extends over much of Western Europe with deep trough over the eastern part of continent. In between, a prevailing northwesterly to northerly flow has established. Northerly flow pushes low-level moisture to the south of our forecast region which causes generally hostile conditions for DMC over majority of Europe. The only exception being extreme southern Mediterranean where an isolated lightning or two might occur from a low topped Cb.
