No threat levels have been issued.

SYNOPSIS / DISCUSSION

Cold air at upper levels has overspread most portions of Europe. Some showers and thunderstorms will likely develop in a slightly unstable airmass over the Mediterranean Sea.

A low pressure system reaches the British Isles during the late morning hours and some convection could occur along and also in the wake of the cold front. Although vertical shear is rather strong (about 25 - 30 m/s of 0-6 km shear), no threat level is issued as the possibility of convectively enhanced severe wind gusts is rather conditional.
