SYNOPSIS / DISCUSSION

It seems that chances of electrified or severe convective storms will be quite slim on Saturday. Most of Europe is affected by fairly dry polar air (central and eastern Europe) or by large-scale subsience (western Europe), providing a hostile environment for convective storms. Some shallow convection may occur, especially over the Aegean and E Mediterranean, but this activity is not anticipated to be significantly electrified and a thunderstorm area is not required.
