A few thunderstorms go on / develop in the range of a diffluent upper-air streamline pattern over SW Europe. We went close with EL temperature forecasts as thunderstorm areas were drawn. A broad area over Portugal, Spain and the western Mediterranean could see a few thunderstorms, but neither coverage nor intensity would justify such a huge thunderstorm area.

Elsewhere no thunderstorms are forecast.
