SYNOPSIS

There are two dominant synoptic features on the European weather map. One is a strong 970hPa depression just NW of Norway and the other one a stout 1045hPa high pressure area over the eastern Atlantic.
A lot goes on over Europe as numerous short wave troughs and ridges are present, but none of them poses a distinct enhanced convective risk.
The highest probabilities for enhanced convective activity can be found just west of Norway, but expected activity even does not justify a general thunderstorm area.

Otherwise, no enhanced thunderstorm risk exists in our forecast area.
