A Mesoscale Discussion was issued for an area east of Milan (N Italy) to update an evolving severe risk.

Latest radar data reveals a growing supercell, wich now moves east into a constantly improving CAPE/shear space with latest RUC data showing 2500 J/kg MLCAPE overlapped by 30 m/s DLS. LCLs in the 1-1.5 km AGL range to the east point to a damaging hail/gust threat. This risk lasts for the next 2-3h before this cell enters a dried BL airmass with increasing CIN, which induces some weakening. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, although meager BL conditions should hamper that threat.
