SYNOPSIS

A long cold front, especially in mid-levels, strectches from France to NW Russia and is associated with a low over the Norwegian Sea that causes a strong westerly flow across much of northern Europe. In the maritime polar airmass behind the front some thunderstorms could develop. These should be rather unorganized, even if clustered, with no severe weather threat other than isolated severe wind gusts in areas where the winds are already strong.
