This mesoscale discussion was issued to update a convective outlook with a threat of excessive precipitation over E Moldova and Ukraine.

A recent NWP model update simulate a MCS that will develop over Ukraine/Moldovia border in the environment rich in moisture (PW > 30mm). With its southwardly motion it will enter Black Sea in the afternoon hours and move towards N Turkey until end of the forecast validity. Due to its slow motion (DLS ~ 10 m/s) and persistent DMC excessive precipitation are likely.
