SYNOPSIS and DISCUSSION

The pressure configuration over Europe precludes organized convection.

Postfrontal convection occurs north of Scotland during the overnight hours. 20-25 m/s winds at the top of the well mixed BL result in strong/isolated severe wind gusts. Lightning activity will be limited.

Isolated DMC occurs over the N-Adriatic Sea and the Strait of Gibraltar (including surrounding areas).
