SYNOPSIS / DISCUSSION

A surge of cold air at upper levels overspreads most portions of western, central and eastern Europe. Regions with a possibility of isolated thunderstorms are solely found within the cold airmass. Severe convective weather is not expected on Sunday due to a lack of both instability and vertical shear. Nevertheless, one can't exclude an isolated waterspout over the Mediterranean in a very weak background flow.
