SYNOPSIS

High pressure dominates much of Europe, from Scandinavia to the Mediterranean. A frontal system belonging to a large depression west of Iceland passes Ireland and is followed by colder, more unstable air early on Sunday. In Central and Eastern Europe, a rather vigorous low over Russia steers cold air from Scandinavia into northeastern Germany, Czechia and Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine, while warm air wins terrain over Netherlands and Germany.
