SYNOPSIS

An upper trough extends from the Baltics southwestwards over Italy and the Mediterranean towards Portugal. Marginal CAPE and locally 15 - 25 m/s 0-6km deep layer shear are predicted for some regions within the trough. Isolated thunder SW of Portugal and over the E Mediterranean is not ruled out but overall activity is even too low for a low probability thunderstorm area.
