SYNOPSIS

As a large trough moves to the east, very cold conditions, which have been prevalent over most of Central and Eastern Europe, will slowly start to diminish. Over Southwestern and Western Europe a ridge will slightly amplify, moving eastwards. To the west of the ridge a short wave trough will approach the British Isles by the Thursday 06 UTC. At the surface a large high pressure system, centered over the Central Mediterranean will slightly translate towards east - northeast.

At the moment it does not seem that any area will experience a significant thunderstorm activity, nor a severe weather associated with it. Three areas might experience very sporadic lightning - the Ionian Sea during 06-12 UTC period, the Aegean Sea between 12-18 UTC and the belt from Eastern Belarus to Ukraine in a fresh northwesterly flow between 09-15 UTC. Neither of these regions is expected to meet a criteria of 15% coverage and therefore, no area is introduced.
