A level 1 was updated for France mainly for a chance of tornadoes.

The areas have been updated in response to current convective developments over France and the new GFS 12Z run. Please refer to the Forecast for the discussion of these areas, which remains valid.

An additional thunder area was introduced for the nothern Mediterranean. GFS12Z run indicated that elevated convection will be possible.
